Linda married Gregory Ian Hill on 20th of July 1996 in Lidcombe at The Gables, a romantic Victorian Gothic Mansion built in the 1870s . Linda’s parents were not able to attend, so George King gave the beautiful bride away. George was Linda’s “foster” father from her exchange student days in Adelaide.

The groom and a number of the guests wore Barong Tagalogs, the traditional Filipino formal dress for men. George King’s was a gift given to him by Linda’s family when she was an exchange student. Yes, it still fitted him 28 years later!

The happy couple lived in Linda’s first home at Berala until 2003 when they moved to their current home at Baulkham Hills, in the north-west of Sydney. Having more space, they were able to add a second, and then a third dog to the family.

They love their home, the friendliness and community spirit of the area. Linda is fond of reminding Greg that had she not insisted on looking at just one more house they would never have found their quarter acre piece of paradise.

Their local church is St Michael’s, where Greg was inducted into the Catholic faith in 2006.
