This site was first prepared as a tribute and dedication to my dear wife, Linda, on the occasion of her birthday on 22nd June 2006.
The site covers her life from birth in the Philippines, marriage, motherhood, the turmoil and bravery during the overthrow of dictator Ferdinand Marcos, migration to Australia and our marriage.
I tried to be objective, but inevitably there were inaccuracies and perhaps an occasional exaggeration. My only excuse is that they were symptoms of my deep love for my own personal hero, Linda Angeles-Hill.
Since 2006 a number of corrections and additions have been made and will continue to be made. However this site will never be about our life in general, particularly in the post-2006 period. For that you will have to visit our other site: http://angeles-hill.com/.
